Tips for the smart traveller – Airports
Airports are busy, commercial and transport service hubs
This means that everyone is either heading somewhere
or returning from somewhere.
All the while someone is trying to sell you something
usually at an inflated price. This includes duty free.
This busy and disconnected environment also attracts crime.
Crimes of opportunity or calculated and advanced crimes.
People may try to access your phone or computer via wifi or bluetooth.
People may steal valuables, electronic equipment, credit cards or cash if you’re not alert.
People may be planning violent attacks aimed at commuters.
Or there may just be people trying to sell you something you don’t really need
like those plastic wrapping of bag services.
Travel with a better bag.
